Welcome to Old Surly's CookBook database. This database isn't intended to replace your cook books, that would be silly, but to help you find where your favourite recipes are in your extensive library. Search by the main ingredient and then filter by restaurant, chef, type of meal, or occasion. Record who you have cooked meals for to avoid the "Have we cooked that for them before" moment and record your guests likes dislikes and even comments.
Add all of the recipe ingredients from a whole cookbook or just your favourite recipes. It's about you, not the publishers. However, if you wish you can find suggestions for recipes that other people like and might come from a book that you don't have. You just know that you are going to have to add it to your collection. So, add your more obscure recipe books and share them with others. Then everybody is happy, you, your guests, the writers and their publishers.
